2006 Carbon Disclosure Project Response
The 2006 Australian and New Zealand Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP4) report was launched in October 2006 and stated that “Goodman Fielder demonstrated a high degree of insight and responsiveness to (climate change related) issues”. The report also established a Climate Leadership Index (CLI) based on information provided in responses to the CDP questionnaire, to identify those companies who provide CDP responses that most adequately address the climate change risks and opportunities that have the potential to affect their business. This section of the report nominated Goodman Fielder as a climate change leader in the Food Industry.

2007 Carbon Disclosure Project Response
The 2007 Australian and New Zealand Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP5) report again included Goodman Fielder in the “Consumer Staples” category of the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI). According to the CDP5 report, the CDLI “identifies companies that provide responses to the CDP5 questionnaire that most adequately demonstrate to investors that the company understands and has assessed the risks and opportunities associated with climate change and has in place effective governance, strategies and programs to manage such risks and generate the identified opportunities”.

2008 Carbon Disclosure Project Response
Goodman Fielder recently submitted its response to the 2008 Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP6).
